Hey hey, it’s Wordless Wednesday. This week, we had children in WWII garb, jackfruit sightings, dogs in beds (that doesn’t change week to week unfortunately, or fortunately), acid rain tasting, and more. Enjoy!
Love nyc street vendors, that’s a $30 jackfruit
No way is this London Bridge gonna fall
Leaping Lauren
Love waking up to this in the morning
Diapers on big kids = hilarious
Vintage bookstores always have just what I’m looking for
And the back cover is equally awesome
Lake house shop, not good, not good at all
Nice manners
You know you’re a child who grew up in the ’80s when this strikes fear in your heart
Thanks Anthony! I just installed the new battery this morning. As promised the installation instructions were clear and concise. The whole process was a breeze. To be honest though, I’ve had a bit of practice with this. It’s charging now and only time will tell how well it lasts. I’ll be sure to let you know.
You crack me up all the time. Is fishing on hold? I’m bow hunting this year and I wont stop til I get one. I’ll be taping. And on yeah, watch out for the scope kiss. Happy Holiday’s my friend.
I know, I kind of want to buy it one time. But what if I hate it and it’s $30 down the drain. I need someone to tell me if they’re awesome or horrible. Will keep you guys posted if I end up being the guinea pig.
Check out Ebay! I randomly saw this as I was passing a store on the street and it was too great to pass up. While they have the expected jellied horribleness, they were actually ahead of their time with some progressive recipes using duck and other meats. Not bad for 1963.
Gorgeous photos. Happy WW, thanks so much for hosting.
Thanks for dropping by Mystery!

Awesome photos! That’s a big fruit!
Never even heard of a jackfruit before. Also, I’m LMAO at the back of the cookbook – priceless!!

Why is that funny? Don’t you write your blog posts at a desk with a stack of old newspapers and a cigarette like the rest of us?
PS, love Margarita, nice find : )
This is just such a great eclectic set of wonderful photos. Thanks for sharing them.

What a great week in pictures! (Oh, and I too have acid rain flashbacks.)
The pics are great and that is THE biggest jackfruit I have ever seen.

great pics, and I LOVE the cookbook – front and back. I’d love to find a copy of that myself.
